Questions people ask

Do the templates work in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes, both. Every file is built as an .xlsx and tested in Excel and in Google Sheets before it goes on sale. For Google Sheets, upload the file to Drive and open it, or use File, Import in a new Sheet.
What do I get when I buy?
Two files, right after checkout: the spreadsheet (.xlsx) and a four-page Quick Start guide (.pdf). No account, no add-on, no subscription.
Can I use my own currency?
Yes. Type your currency symbol once and every number on the dashboard uses it.
Are the free calculators the same as the templates?
They are simplified versions built on the same logic: fewer rows, one screen, no history. The templates keep all your data, take more items and update month after month.
Are the formulas locked?
In Excel, the sheets are protected without a password, so you can only type in the input cells. Google Sheets does not lock cells against the file owner, so the formula cells are marked instead: if you overwrite one by mistake, undo, or re-download the file.
What if something does not work?
Write to hello@modulishq.com with the file name and what you see, and we fix it. Digital files are not refundable once downloaded, so the fix is the promise.

Most budget spreadsheets make you fill ten tabs before they tell you anything. We built Modulis around the opposite idea: you enter your numbers once, and the answer is on the first screen. The calculators on this site are free, simplified versions of our files.

The studio

Modulis is a small studio in Switzerland. Every file is built for Excel and Google Sheets and comes with a four-page Quick Start guide. No account to create, nothing to install, nothing to subscribe to.

Every file is tested before it goes on sale. If something doesn't work as expected, write to us and we fix it. No ticket, no bot, a reply from the person who built the file.
